MATH
Students will be continuing the unit on measurement. A CYP is scheduled for Thursday, 1/31. (Please adjust student planners as necessary since we wrote the CYP is on Wed.) This will cover chapter 6, lessons 1-5. Also, there will be a divided by 3 test on Friday, 2/1.
READING
Students will have time to work on their African American Snapshots photo album in class. This project is due on Wednesday, 1/30. We will continue meeting in small groups to discuss genre, nonfiction text, and making connections.
ENGLISH
Our study of adjectives will continue this week.

Monday: List 16 pretest (adding endings)

SCIENCE
We will continue studying heat, light and sound.
SOCIAL STUDIES
Since we have not had an opportunity to begin chapter 3 on cultures, we will be doing so this week.
