Monarch Munchie Challenge is back for 2019!

1st grade and 2nd grade will have a chance to attend our Monarch Munchie party
in the library if they read all 20 Monarch Nominees.

The Monarch Munchie party will include a certificate presented to each
determined reader by Mr. Rhoads, snacks, and an extra recess!

All students will be able to vote for their favorite Monarch Nominee,
as long as they read at least five books by March 4.

Students will have an opportunity to hear some of the nominees read aloud in
Gym, Art, Music and from Mr. Rhoads!

Students also have an opportunity to come to the library during their respective morning meeting
(2nd grade Meet ‘n Read) or lunch times (1st grade Eat ‘n Read) to hear some of the nominees.
(The schedule is included in the link below.)

All books must be read by Monday, March 4.  Our library has 4 copies of
each book and the public libraries have a designated Monarch section
for ease of checkout.

Turn in the reading form (link below), with a parent signature by Monday,
March 4, to receive an invitation.  Once all forms have been turned in and compiled,
Ms. Hendron will send you an invitation with details on our Monarch Munchie Party.

I can't wait to see how many participants we will have this year!
