Week of November 16

Hi parents and students! This is the last full week before our Thanksgiving break. Next week, we are off of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.



Reminders: The Skating party is on Tuesday, November 17. All seats have been filled for this event.



Here is the upcoming week in a nutshell:



MATH

Our work with decimals will continue. Originally, I had the test scheduled for Thursday, November 19. There is a chance this will be postponed to Friday, November 20. I will keep the students updated.
Language Arts
Students will continue inferring this week, as well as, finishing up their Jacob's Rescue summary journal. We will also be sharing our reading projects. In English, our work with nouns continues. Spelling will bring us to lesson 11.
Science
We will begin chapter 6 on ecosystems and change this week.
Social Studies
Our trade fair is on Wednesday and I'm really looking forward to seeing the items students have made for this fun event!
