Week of November 2

Hi parents and students! I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween! Looking forward to hearing all of the fun trick-or-treating stories!

Just a reminder that we are going to Robert Crown on Friday, November 6. Please send students with a sack lunch that day.


Book projects are due Friday, November 13!!
There is no school on Wednesday, November 11 in observance of Veteran's Day.





Here is the upcoming week in a nutshell:
MATH

This week, we will cover functions and inequalities. Our chapter 4 test will be taken in two parts. Part one will be on Thursday, November 5. Part two will be on Tuesday, November 10.

Language Arts
As we continue with visualizing, students will write their own Tall Tales this week.
In English, we will begin our noun unit as we continue practicing our writing. The spelling lesson 9 is also on the writing process.
Social Studies
We will be reviewing on Monday to prepare for our test on Tuesday, November 3.
Science
Our class will be looking at food webs more closely in addition to the nitrogen cycle as we prepare for our test scheduled for Tuesday, November 10.
