Week of March 16

This is the first of two full weeks before Spring Break. We have much to do!
Homeroom
In Science, we are continuing with ecosystems and energy focusing on photosynthesis and food webs.
In Social Studies, we are going to share our presentations on the battles of the Revolutionary War before we decide which battle deserves a monument in Washington. Then, we are going to prepare for the Chapter 9 Test scheduled on Thursday, March 19.
Math
This week, we are examining solid figures and nets for solid figures before we prepare for our quest on Chapter 19 scheduled for Thursday, March 19.

Language Arts

Our study of China will continue as we work on our brochures. The final brochures are due on Monday, March 23. In addition, we will be starting our All About Me projects. Incorporated into these two major projects will be writing mini-lessons during our writing workshop.
