Halloween is such a fun time of year! I am really looking forward to seeing all of the costumes. Please remember that no weapons of any kind can be brought in to accompany a costume. Also, students will have approximately 15 minutes to change so please be sure to send them with everything they need. The parade begins at 1:15 and the classroom parties will follow. I know our room moms have been working very hard at organizing our party - THANK YOU!!
Here's the upcoming week in a nutshell:
Homeroom
We will continue learning about life during the colonial times and begin our Benjamin Franklin timeline. The Trade Fair went very well and we learned a great deal about how the colonists survived without money to buy their goods.
In Science we will continue investigating molecules and atoms in addition to exploring the 3 states of matter.
Math
We are going to begin Algebra this week!
Language Arts
In addition to spooky creative writing, we will continue with Tall Tales while working on the visualizing strategy. Then, we will write our very own tall tale!
