My Math Class
We are going to share our Geometry Projects on Monday then we will have a few lessons on elapsed time. Following time, we will be covering area and perimeter. Timed fact tests are still on Fridays. How is your child doing? By this time, each student should only have a few more tests to take.

Spelling this week: List 23 (words that begin with a or be)
Monday night - cursive worksheet
Tuesday night - ABC order or challenge activity
Wednesday night - 10 sentences (using all 20 words) or challenge activity
Friday - Test
Social Studies - continuing our Chicago unit. Students will receive directions on the Chicago Brochure this week and will be working in class, as well as, at home on this project.
Science - continuing our Space unit. Students will be taking lesson reviews using their books and notes. Final test date TBD.
ELA - Finishing up adjectives and adverbs. We will also be applying our summarizing skills to our good fit books. Is your child still reading every night? Reading proves to be the best way to improve vocabulary and comprehension.
My WIN group
Our group is working in literature circles as they finish up their novels. We will be starting new novels soon.
