Week of January 27, 2014

On Monday our class is celebrating for completing homework.  Students are able to wear pajamas (or anything to keep them warm) and we will be watching a movie with Mrs. Olsen's class.

MATH
My class is getting all of their facts under way.  Please make sure your child is studying their facts (multiplication and division) regularly.  This is our main focus for the upcoming week in addition to reviewing topics they might find on ISATs or had trouble answering on the MAP test.

READING
We are wrapping up Dogzilla with a vocab and comprehension test on Tuesday.  We will start Night of the Puffins after.  

ENGLISH
We are writing our autobiographies.

SCIENCE


We are beginning our unit on space.

SOCIAL STUDIES
We are beginning our unit on Chicago.
