A few reminders about next week:
Tuesday, 4/30 - Students will be taking the Reading Map test at 1:00.
Wednesday, 5/1 - Students will be taking the Math Map test at 11:45.
Please make sure all of our kiddos are well rested so they could perform their absolute best and show all of the knowledge they have gained this year!
Here is our upcoming week in a nutshell:
MATH
Students will explore probability, find part of a whole and problem solve before we take our CHAPTER 9 TEST ON THURSDAY, 5/2.
READING
We will be combining Social Studies and Reading over the next several weeks with our focus on Egypt. Throughout this unit we utilize our reading skills of identifying the main idea and supporting details, and fact/opinion, along with all the skills we've been working on. In addition, some students will be presenting their Jackdaws.
ENGLISH
Our class will be dabbling in some poetry and figurative language over the next couple weeks.
SCIENCE
Students will be preparing for fourth grade Science in our next unit "Getting Ready for Science". We'll be performing a lot of fun experiments and using many tools scientists use.
SPELLING
This week is on commonly misspelled words, Lesson 26. Assignments are as follows:
Monday: Pretest; Homework is cursive worksheet
Tuesday: Homework is ABC order for nonchallenge and Activity 1 for challenge
Wednesday: Homework is 10 sentences for nonchallenge and Activity 2 for challenge
Friday: Final Lesson 26 Test
