Our class had a dress rehearsal today and all I can say is, be prepared to be SHOCKED and AMAZED by our magnificent magicians!
After the spectacular performance, I will share the reading blog our class will be able to log into over the summer to share their summer reads.
**Early dismissal on Friday, 5/18
MATH
Students will be tested on chapter 24 on Monday, 5/14. They are also able to retake the divided by 6 test throughout the week but the divided by 7 test is on Thursday, 5/17.
READING
As you all know, our magic show is on Monday. Then the students and I will begin our reading response journals about the good fit books they are reading. We will also practice how to advertise our books over the summer on our reading blog.
ENGLISH
Pronouns start this week with a pretest on either Monday or Tuesday to determine instruction.
SPELLING
Lesson 25 pretest Monday with the homework and final test on Friday. Homework: 10 sentences in cursive, cursive worksheet and ABC order.
SCIENCE
We are continuing heat, light and sound with a lesson 2 review on Monday.
SOCIAL STUDIES
Our study of Egypt will begin this week.
