Monday, March 28th is the beginning of Spring Break. School will resume on Monday, April 4th.
This week in a nutshell:
Science: We will focus on social studies this week, but we will also be discussing potential and kinetic energy.
Social Studies: We will continue the study of Chicago.
Spelling: This week we will work on spelling list 19. There will be a test on Friday, March 25th.
Reading: We will finish working with the chapter book Ramona Quimby, Age 8. While reading, students will work on many reading strategies including finding the main idea, making connections, and sequencing.
English: This week we will finish our study of adjectives and adverbs in unit 4. There will be a unit 4 test on Thursday, March 24th. Students will receive a study guide on Monday.
Math: We will be testing on chapter 19 on Monday, then we will move on to algebra.
