We made it through ISAT week! Our class did an outstanding job and really deserves to celebrate. So, on Thursday, March 20, we will be having a pizza party and watching the Bee Movie. Nice job team!
Thursday, March 20 is Mrs. Napolitano's last day before her maturnity leave. We wish her all the best and will miss her greatly!
On Friday, March 21, there is no school.
Monday, March 24 begins our Spring Break. I hope everyone relaxes and enjoys the time off.
This week, you can expect:

Reading - after sharing our "Did you know...." booklets with Mr. Trinco's 3rd graders, we will begin exploring China. We will participate in a reader's theater of 'The Four Dragons' and use nonfiction resources to assist us in creating our very own China brochure.
In Social Studies, we are going to dissect and hopefully memorize the Preamble.
In Science, there will be a quiz on weather activities 1-7 on Wednesday. A study guide will be provided on Monday.
In English, we are going to practice alliteration using adjectives to describe Eggcellent Easter Entrees.
My Math group will begin diving by 2-digit divisors. I cannot stress how important knowledge of math facts are when computing these types of problems. The process will be so much less stressful to those students who have made it a point to memorize their facts. A quiz on mental math and division will be on Thursday, March 20.
Have a great week!
