How 'bout them Giants!!!
This week, you can expect:
No School on Tuesday.
Early dismissal on Thursday.
The grade level Spelling Bee has been rescheduled for Monday. The official Spelling Bee is still scheduled for Friday at 1:15 in the Gym.
Much of our week will include ISAT preparation in Reading and Language Arts. Students were given their February Book Report instructions. The due date is Monday, March 3. The book report requires students to read a non-fiction book on an African American Achiever of their choice.
In Science, we are still discussing Temperature and have an activity involving anomometers coming up. The quiz scheduled for last Friday will be taken on Monday.
In Social Studies, we will look over our independent notes from Lesson 2 and will begin our Revolutionary War projects. Students will be able to choose the project they would like to work on and will have a rubric explaining what they will be graded on. They should double check that they have met all of the requirements stated on the rubric before handing their projects in. These projects will be due on Tuesday, February 19.
My Math group will be starting the measurement unit this week. No quizzes are scheduled at this time.
Stay warm and dry!
