Monarch Munchie Challenge is BACK!

Monarch Munchies Challenge is BACK!

This year, there are a few changes to our Monarch Munchie Challenge:

1st grade and 2nd grade will have a chance to attend our Monarch Munchie
party in the library if they read all 20 Monarch Nominees.

The Monarch Munchie party will include a certificate presented to each determined reader by Mr. Rhoads, snacks, and an extra recess!

All students will be able to vote for their favorite Monarch Nominee,
as long as they read at least five books by March 12.

Students have an opportunity to hear some of the nominees read aloud in Gym, Art, Music and
from Mr. Rhoads! (Titles indicated on the link below.)

Students also have an opportunity to come to the library during their respective lunch times
(Eat ‘n Read) to hear some of the nominees.  (The schedule is included in the link below.)

All books must be read by Monday, March 12.

Turn in your reading form (click below to print or get a copy in the library), with parent or
teacher initials in each box indicating the books you have read by Monday, March 12,
to receive your invitation.  Once all forms have been turned in and compiled, Ms. Hendron
will send you an invitation with details on our Monarch Munchie Party.

Looking forward to exploring some great books!
