Thursday will be our last day of Junior Achievement with Mr. Blocker. The students have done really neat activities to help them understand the economy. We are going to miss our time with him!
MY MATH
How are math facts coming along? Your child should be finished or close to finished with their facts at this time. This week, we are going to explore liquid volume and mass further.
MY WIN
We finished up discussing how some questions are answered and some are not as we read. The class discovered it's ok if our questions are not answered, however, it's not ok if we don't have any questions are we are reading. We should always be interacting with the text. This week, we are going to perform Reader's Theater which coincides with the units we are covering in our reading classes.
MY HOMEROOM
In science we are going to finish up our space unit.
Spelling list 29 is on short a and short e sounds.
Monday - ABC order
Tuesday - 10 sentences (using all 20 words)
Friday - final test
In reading we are going to pick up our exploration of fables, folktales and myths.
