Week of April 27, 2015

Next week is MAP testing.  Our class has the reading Map test on Monday.  The math Map test is Wednesday.  Because of the testing schedule, students will not have math on Tuesday or Thursday.  In addition, there will not be WIN on Mon - Thurs.

OPEN HOUSE/Book Fair is on Thursday, 4/30 from 6:30 - 8:00.  The online book fair opens 4/25. Visit this link for more information:

On Thursday afternoon, Mrs. Csorba will be "popping" in to read to our class with popcorn and pop!!!  Sophia's parents won the PTO auction for the fabulous prize!!! 

MY MATH CLASS

Our class will not meet on Tuesday or Thursday due to Map schedules.  This week, we are going to wrap up perimeter and begin area.

WIN CLASS

We will only be meeting on Friday for nonfiction Friday.

Spelling - List 25 is on commonly misspelled words.  

Monday - Cursive worksheet

Tuesday - ABC order or challenge activity

Wednesday - 10 sentences or challenge activity

Friday - final test

We will be continuing our studies of space and Chicago and completing projects to display at Open House.  In Language Arts, we will begin our letter writing unit.  Because the week is full with Map testing and Open House, there are no tests scheduled.
