Thursday is an early dismissal; students leave at 11:00.
MATH
Students will take the chapter 3 test on Tuesday. We will then begin our multiplication unit. Students will have homework which requires the internet on Thursday, 10/24 and Wednesday, 10/30.
READING
Students will be quizzed on the word of the week they chose from their good fit book on Friday. We are going to continue practicing inferring and will wrap up Ballad of Mulan this week.
ENGLISH
We are going to continue working on our descriptive writing unit. Students will have homework Monday - Thursday correcting daily language errors.
SPELLING

Monday: Cursive Worksheet
Tuesday: ABC order or Challenge Activity
Wedneday: 10 sentences using 20 words or Challenge Activity
Friday: List 9 final test
SOCIAL STUDIES
Now that we've covered the history of Downers Grove, we will be learning about modern day DG. We will be ready for the test on Tuesday 10/29.
SCIENCE
We are still discovering the water cycle components...we will test on chapter 9 on Tuesday, 11/5.
