I sent a note home about Johnny Appleseed Day. Please send your child in with a peeled and cored apple on Thursday, 9/26 so we could make apple sauce.
MATH
My math class is cruising along in chapter 2. We are taking a CYP on Monday to see how we are doing in lessons 1-4. On Thursday, we will check our progress on lessons 5-7. The chapter 2 test is scheduled for Tuesday, 10/1.
READING
Our focus will be on summarizing and evaluating this week as we begin to split off into small groups to address specific reading needs.
ENGLISH
We will cover command, exclamations, statements and questions. I will also introduce the subject of a sentence.
SPELLING

SCIENCE
Chapter 4 test on ecosystems is on Tuesday, 10/1. A study guide is going home today.
