WEEK IN A NUTSHELL

ISAT TESTING
Third grade has decided to hold the tests over a two-week period to avoid fatigue and restlessness. The testing dates are during the first and second weeks of March:
Tues. 3/5, Wed. 3/6, Thurs. 3/7, ; and on Tues. 3/12, Wed. 3/13, Thurs. 3/14 from 8:00 - 10:00. Please make sure students are well rested and have eaten a healthy breakfast.
MATH
We have completed our unit on measurement, the students did a fantastic job on the test!
This week we will spend time reviewing and practicing for ISAT testing.
A division test on 7's will be given on Friday, Mar. 1.
ENGLISH
Students will be typing and editing their autobiographies.
SCIENCE
No science this week. We will be focusing on social studies.
We will be starting a unit on Space the following week!
SOCIAL STUDIES
We will be finishing our unit on immigration this week.
Students will take a test on Friday, Mar. 1
Upon completing this unit we will begin a new unit on Chicago!
READING
This week we will continue to review and prepare for ISAT testing.
SPELLING
This week we will be covering list 17 prefixes and suffixes.
Monday's homework is the cursive sheet.
Tuesday's homework will be ABC order in spelling journals (non challenge).
OR Activity one in spelling journal (challenge).
Wednesday's Homework is to write ten sentences using all 20 words in spelling journals.
Spelling test will be given on Friday.
