Our students were very grateful to receive their

A x5 test is on Friday.
Another CYP covering lessons 7/12 is scheduled for Tuesday, 11/20.

READING
We will continue working on analogies, this week focusing on antonyms.  The synonym/antonym test is on Friday, 11/16.  In addition we will continue working on using context clues to determine the meaning of an unfamiliar word, predicting, and summarizing.  Students will be reading various books while practicing these strategies.

Students will receive a homework assignment using Thanksgiving words which will be due on Friday, 11/16. No test will be given.
