The days are winding down! There is a lot going on this week, as well as, next!
On Monday, May 19, Lakeview is opening their doors for Open House. This begins at 6:30.
On Thursday, we are going over to Lakeview to see the dress rehearsal of their play.
On Friday, there is a Music concert at 1:15. Also, our spirit wear is red, white and blue day.
On Monday, May 26, there is NO SCHOOL in observance of Memorial Day.
Here is what to expect:
Reading - We will be taking a comprehension quiz on chapters 18-28 in Holes on Tuesday. On Thursday, there will be a vocabulary quiz on section 3. On Friday, there will be a comprehension quiz on section 4. By the end of the week, we will have read up to chapter 40.
Social Studies - We will continue with chapter 12 focusing on the Struggle Reforms before taking our test on Wednesday, May 28.
Our study of flight continues in Science.
My Math group - Some students need a review of the concepts covered in Chapter 9. We will do this on Monday. Then, we will begin adding and subtracting fractions.
If you have any materials you are not using that the students might be able to scrapbook with, please send it in! We will be working on our memory books throughout the last days of school.
