On Wednesday, May 7 at 7:00, there is a band concert at Lakeview that I am looking forward to. I hope to see many of you there!
This week in a nutshell:
Reading - We are going to finish up our poetry books and share some of our favorite poems with the class. The books are due on Thursday, May 1. A lot of class time has been provided so this assignment should not interfere with the April book report that is due on Friday, May 2.
Social Studies - After finishing up lesson 3, we will be taking our Chapter 11 test on Tuesday, May 6.
Science - This week, we will be looking at kites further, as well as, beginning airplanes. No quizzes are scheduled.
English - After finishing up prepositional phrases, we will be reviewing for a test scheduled for Friday, May 9.
My math group - We are starting Chapter 9 this week on Fraction Concepts. We will be exploring primes and composites, common factors and greatest common factors, common multiples and least common multiples and problem solving. A checkpoint quiz is not scheduled until Wednesday, May 7.
