FYI about our Holiday plan for Friday, December 21. Mrs. Schultz will be taking the entire school to the Tivoli to see the Polar Express! We will be eating lunch in our room at 10:45; loading the buses at 11:15 and return to school by 2:15. Please have your child bring a sack lunch that day.
I have sent out permission slips for GeoSpace and the AMF lanes for a bowling field trip. Please return these to me at your earliest convenience.

We haven't even been in school for 4 months and our class has already earned $1,000.00 for a class party! Congratulations!!!!
What this week will bring:
Monday, December 3 - Book Reports are due!
Wednesday, December 5 - Last day to bring in gifts for our family in need. We will be starting Too Good For Drugs.
Spelling - Lesson 11 on the suffix /-ly/. Pretest on Monday, workbook pages 50-53 due Thursday, final test on Friday.
English - Continuing with adjectives. We will be learning about articles and demonstratives, comparing with adjectives and comparing with good and bad.

Social Studies - We will be practicing map skills, learning about the French and Indian War and begin preparing for our test which is on Thursday, December 13.
Reading- By Friday, we will have read up to 11 o'clock in The Night of the Twister. Every chapter has journal responses and questions to support what we are reading.
Science - We will be working on our 'Ms. Frizzle' projects, which will be due on Friday, December 7. This project in in lieu of a test on the Human Body, which is the unit we have just wrapped up, so I am expecting excellent work proving students did not rush through the assignment.

Have a great week!
