Week of April 28, 2014

This week, Open House is on Thursday, May 1 from 6:30 - 8.  The Scholastic Book Fair will be in the gym during this time as well.  Come check out all of the classrooms, hallways and IMC.

Here is our week in a nutshell:

MATH
We will continue working in chapter 9.

READING
We are going to create our own Jackdaw of the book of our choice.  (This past week, students got to make predictions from my Jackdaw of the book In a Nutshell.)

ENGLISH
Students will write their 2nd grade pen pal.  The letter writing quiz is on Wednesday.  Ask your child to recite the parts of a letter song.

SCIENCE
Our chapter 10 test on space is on Monday.
