Here is our upcoming week in a nutshell:
MATH
Students will be take the chapter 2 test on rounding on Wednesday, 10/26.
READING
We will begin to focus on cause and effect as we read stories from the basal and other materials such as non fiction articles and chapter books. We will also work on synonyms and antonyms. Students will take a vocabulary quiz on Friday, 10/28.
ENGLISH
We've created our haunted houses, now we are going to describe them with our detailed writing.
SPELLING
There will not be a pretest on our Halloween words, but there will be homework and a final test on Friday.
SOCIAL STUDIES
Our study of Downers Grove will begin in preparation for our DG field trip coming up on November 18.
SCIENCE
Chapter 11 - Matter - will begin on Tuesday.
