This week brings us:
Social Studies - Chapter 6 Test on Thursday, November 15. The students have a lot of notes to study from for this test. Our Trade Fair is on Friday, November 16.
Spelling - Pretest on Thanksgiving words on Monday; post test on Friday.
English - We are continuing our study of verbs in Unit 3. The Unit 3 test will be on Tuesday, November 20.
Reading - we will be finishing Bridge to Terabithia this week and will be testing on the entire book on Friday, November 16.
Science -We will be reading a food label and constructing a food pyramid. Please send your child with a food label on or before Wednesday, November 14. Thank you for sending the food in for last week's experiment!
Conferences are scheduled for the week of November 26. I have sent a confirmation for all of my appointments - thank you for sending those back so quickly!
On Friday, November 16, we are showing our school spirit by wearing our Favorite Sports Team Wear.
Remember: No school on November 21-23.
Upcoming events: A note went home regarding Prairieview's Winter Family Fun Night. On Friday, December 7 from 6:30 - 8:45, parents and children have the opportunity to make a fleece blanket for the Children's Hospital and Loyola Medical Center. I hope you can make this very thoughtful event!
